Chinese New Year introduction and holiday notice
1.Introduction to Chinese New Year
Chinese New Year, also known as lunar New Year, is a festival celebrated every year by Chinese communites worldwide, from Hongkong to London and Sydney to San Francisco.
We usually put up New Year couplets, Paper Cutouts and maybe hang some red lanterns and New Year paintings. We consider that putting up New Year couplets can keep evil and monsters away and bring our luck and fortune.
We also have a reunion dinner. Family members and relatives sit together and enjoy the food and time. We eat dumplings, fish and other tasty dishes.
Finally, we watch the CCTV New Year Gala while having out reunion dinner. The Gala normally includes dance, pop perfomances. We all enjoy to watch it.
2.Holiday notice
Please be informed that our company will be closed from January 20 to January 29, 2023 for Lunar New Year holiday Normal business will resume on January 30.
